I use it in combination with Topamax for migraine headaches. Since using this medication I have had fewer and less strong migraines.

Just wanted to relate my experience with irregular heartbeat. I discovered a few things that trigger it in me. First, chromium does it. I can't take multivitamins that have chromium in them. Chromium is also in slimfast diet shakes so I avoid them. Gassy foods like brocoli and spinach salad will trigger palps if eaten a lot. I notice palps will start up due to constipation, so must keep that under control. I hope this helps others prevent palps because they can make you feel miserable.Read More Read Less

Just read about this drug, surprised to find it could cause tingling of feet and hands. This is something I have had for a number of years.

This medicine helped my extra heart beats and palpitations tremendously. My hair started falling out about 2 months after I started taking it and now I am dealing with bald spots in the very front of my hair.

This medication has helped the irregular heart beats a little, but has absolutely killed the sex life. I went through ablation heart surgery to try to get rid of the irregular beats in hopes of getting off this horrible drug. Unfortunately, the surgery did not work and I am still on the drug and still no sex life. Does anyone have any ideas? It seems that no one talks about ED resulting from trying to manage heart disease or congenital heart defects.

This is the only drug that has been a lifeline for me as I have suffered from severe migraine headaches all my life. Have been taking this drug for almost 10 years now and will not do without it. It is wonderful for us migraine sufferers.

I have suffered from SVT for the majority of my life, and Nadolol has proven a godsend. I also deal with chronic, transformed migraines, and this medication has been the one heart-med that has not interfered negatively with my migraine-meds regimes. Two thumbs and a steady heart-beat up for Nadolol.

I have CPVT and SVT and have been using Nadolol for almost one year. My holters and stress tests have been free of all arrhythmias since I have begun taking Nadolol. Also, I took Nadolol while pregnant (benefit outweighted risk) and my son didn't have any side effects. Very satisfied.

Nadolol is a noncardioselective beta-blocker and a good alternative to expensive Inderal-LA. It's a lot like Inderal but you only have to take it once a day. I take it for benign essential tremor. It works great with less fuss than Inderal.
