I have taken several different sleep aides, and this one seems to work best for me. Theonly complaint I have is that the darn pill is difficult to get out of the wrapper. I have to cut it open with the scissors.

I found that I can break or bite tablet in half and it works great for me. Never feel groggy in morning and sleep through night. Other medications including melatonin make me feel really bad in morning.

I have menopausal insomnia and the Unisom Quick Melts work fabulous for me. I sleep soundly and have no lingering sleepiness during the day.

I usually take it about 2 hrs b4 I want to be asleep. For example, one time I took it at 8pm I was sleepy by about 10pm but 4 hrs later at 2am I was wide awake, and probley didn't get back to sleep until 2 or plus hrs later. The instructions say take it a half an hour b4 time of bed. But I don't believe that works. And the flavor is kinda nasty, but I would say try it, if interested. And see how it works for you.

At first it helped me fall asleep and stay asleep, but i seem to have built up a tolerence for it. Also I seem to have a lot of the side affects. The ringing in the ears is very annoying, but the one that made me realize the meds is what was causing other symptoms.

The taste is awful. Barely puts me to sleep, doesn't keep me asleep and I wake up feeling hung over every time I take it.

Doesn't help if you have short term anxiety induced insomnia. Got an Rx for Lunesta, hope that helps more.
