I've taken birth control for over 4 years now. The first month of takg this birth control I was very emotional. Over time it's gotten a lot better. I use it for heavy periods and it cut the bleeding by half and from 14 days to 5 days of bleeding. My skin is also very clear. I don't use it as birth control but my sister does and she's not pregnant so that's good.

I've been on this for at least 4 years. it has been great in preventing pregnancy but I have recently discovered that I have dizzy spells almost daily, mood swings, weight gain, nausea, and migrains are worse. I did stop for about 1 year and I felt a lot better I then started taking this birth control again and I realized why I stopped the only reason I began again was to regulate my cycle. it is great in regulating and protecting agains pregnancy but I am tired of always being tired no matter how much I sleep and having a lack of energy and almost sleeping 12 hours a day. I am also tired of the dizziness, nausea, and lack of control of weight. I am planning on switching this and seeing what other options are out there for me this pill is good for preventing pregnancy but that is about it. I've been taking Tri-Linyah for several years and rate it highly because it does its job - I haven't gotten pregnant! My acne (which I never had until my 20's - then it got HORRIBLE) has completely cleared up since taking it, but I have experienced some weight gain that does not seem to want to go away. Not much, only 5-10 pounds.. but when you only weigh 115 to start, that's not ideal. I always know exactly when my period will start and how many days it will last, which is almost as awesome as not getting pregnant. This pill has been okay so far. I have had spotting issues and acne issues but that is a bout it. I have gained some weight, but that may be from others factors. I am hoping this will decrease as I take this longer. I am not pregnant though so that's good.

This pill makes me feel sick all the time. I'm an emotional wreck and I never used to be. I will be switching as soon as I can.

I have struggled with acne since I was 18 (presently 23), but was very hesitant to viewing birth control as an option because of all the negative things I have read about the impact and manipulation of your hormones. I have always been all about the homopathetic lifestyle, and did not wish to be on a regular medication just to improve the quality and aesthetic appearance of my skin. However, when my periods started to become incredibly, and overwhelming painful with extreme side effects in addition to already irregular- to the point of me being unable to function or be productive during the first two days- I knew I had to do something. I started on nuvaring- but very shortly after I noticed I was feeling unusually and exceptionally depressed, and began getting migraines. so I switched to tri-linyah at a recommendation of a friend and I couldn't be more pleased. I have been on the pill for 5 months now, and after giving my body the period of time to adust- nearly all symptoms of my period are gone completely. Furthermore, I haven't gained any weight, which is generally a negative side effect associated with the pill. My skin hasn't been this clear since before college, and I'm now able to begin treatment to eliminate the scarring. I also have significant stomach problems which were escalated during my period, and those systems have subsided and I feel more in control of my digestive system. Not to mention- the main purpose for birth control- has kept me protected and feeling safe. Also love having a consistent, & light period! Considering the process, and all my hesitations- I'm incredibly happy with my decision. It's improved a number of areas of my life and allowed me to be so much more pleasant and productive, and have skin that I'm proud of. I know this can't always be the case, and many woman struggle with birth control, so I'm incredibly grateful for the help tri-linyah has been and I highly recommend it to woman in similar circumstances! I have been on this birth control for a little over three months and I love it, one in not pregnant and two my acne has cleared amazingly! I recommend this birth control to anyone who is looking into it! I'm very satisfied with the out come!

I love this birth control pill but I have been experiencing a low sex drive.

I've been on this pill for a little over 8 months now & I love it. I'm not pregnant, I hope, & it's helped so much with my anxiety. I actually GET a period, which is good I guess cause I don't have panic attacks about being preggo anymore. Definitely recommend this pill for anxious/depressed women!

I use to use TriNessa but when I switched pharmacies they switched me to this one. It's been terrible. I'm not pregnant which is good but I am so emotional. I'll go from being happy to balling within seconds. I will even randomly get mad over the smallest things. This never happened before, I'm switching as soon as I can.

I have been taking this pill for 2 months and I have been satisfied. I am not pregnant, and my acne has cleared up beautifully. I do still get painful menstrual camps, and my period is heavy for the first 3 days but then is extremely light. It is also more regular than before. I recommend this pill! Also in the beginning I was worried because my acne got worse, but after the first month It has cleared up so much that people are commenting on how good my skin looks.

I have been on this birth control for almost a month and here are my observations: I am breaking out a lot more than usual, but it's decreasing towards the end of the month. My period normally is recognizable a week before, due to excurciating cramps and extreme appetite as well as mood swings. I did not have any of that this time. Started taking this after being diagnosed with ovarian cysts and one of them eventually burst, causing me to faint because of menstrual cramps. I had irregular periods but this pill helped all of that. I used to have a 9 day period, now its down to 5 days. The first two weeks I had really bad headaches and moodswings but I'm in my 5 month taking this and I'm very satisfied with this product. There is hardly any side effects to this. Works great.

I am on the thirteenth day of the generic of this pill and I am not satisfied one bit. I have had uncontrollable mood swings along with depression and emotional outbursts. Yesterday, I was on the way to Costco and started crying uncontrollably because I could not find my Costco card. Needless to say, the littlest things are becoming hard to emotionally handle and I've never been like this before.

This is my first month on the generic version of the generic version I was taking for Ortho Tri Cyclen. My cycle came on 4 days early, I have also been feeling not like myself. I am always tired and sleepy. My cycles are usually a breeze but this time it is horrible. I feel like someone is sucking the life out of me. I thought I was crazy until I read the other reviews. My pharmacy gave this to me in place of TriNessa, which I was very happy with, and I am bleeding heavily only a week and 3 days into starting the active pills, even though I had JUST came off my period. I never had this on TriNessa, even when I first started it, or even before taking Birth Control. I am also breaking out like crazy, something that Trinessa actually stopped. I'm very moody and have cramps. My neck and legs are also sore and I'm not sure if that's connected, but the timing does coincide with all my other issues. I am going to switch back to TriNessa ASAP. I was previously on Tri-Sprintec and after 2 years without being on anything I am getting married and needed to start birth control again. I chose this as I have ovarian cysts and cystic acne. I just finished my first cycle of this medicine and my skin has completely cleared. It gave me mood swings and I could not sleep if I took it at bedtime so I now take it when I wakeup at 5:30am and it is no longer affecting my mood or sleep. My period lasted for 3 days and I had no pain at all, where I usually have a horrible first 2 days with lots of clotting.
