If it weren't for this amazing drug and neb I'm sure I'd be in the hospital. I get yearly pnemonia & bronchitus(sp)...yes both and each time I "get" to spend time in the ER, plus I have severe Asthma. I've been blessed with a Neb and the medication and it has truly been a Godsend! I just got over both the above issues without any visit to the ER, all due to the Neb & med!! AMAZING!! I've had my Da...

I started using this drug and it gave me some relief from coughing but it did not open my airways well. It was very easy to use though.

I usually manage my asthma quite well, but once in a while neither my allergy or bronchial meds, nor my inhaler stop the asthma attack. Since being given this emergency treatment by my doctor in her office, I turn to this in lieu of going to the ER. My breathing usually returns to almost normal by the end of my treatment. It causes a bit of shakiness

While I have COPD I also have pulmonary fibrosis as a result of rheumatoid arthritis. My doctor prescribed this drug after I had the flu and was having problems. It works well in "opening" my lungs and maybe 1 in 5 times it will give me a little nervousness or anxiety. It passes quickly and is not a deal breaker by any means. I use this in conjunction with other drugs but works very well for its intended purposes.

I've used an albuterol sulfate inhaler since being diagnosed with COPD. Very helpful for me with no side effects. I administer the inhalant every four to five hours and also use a nebulizer while sleeping.

This medication, though wonderful at what it was supposed to do, did not sit well with me. It did a wonderful job of keeping my airway open and making it so much easier to breath, but the headache that accompanied it was too much, and I had to stop using it.

I use this in combination with Ipratropium Bromide as an inhalation therapy. Works quickly. I really like it.

This medication has worked great for me! Usually, whenever I would exercise or run, I would have to stop because I wouldn't be able to breath. And I would be coughing and unable to breath for hours upon hours afterward. This inhaler has helped so much! I take it like 20-30 minutes before I exercise, and breathing feels like pure silk. My lungs are so relaxed. The only side affects I noticed were shaky hands and a little bit of disorientation. But it's still totally worth it for the ability to breathe!Read More Read Less

I have this drug in an inhaler form. It works great, but the side effects are really too much. Sometimes I wake up at night and my lungs and throat feel extremely small and its very hard to get a good breath. The doctor at the CVS minute-clinic gave this to me to take whenever I had an episode. It works pretty much immediately and I can start breathing again. The only thing is the SIDE EFFECTS. I also have an adderal prescription, and I really feel like I could never use the two at the same time. The inhaler makes my heart race, makes me feel weak, anxious, and sometimes nauseous. When I use the inhaler I feel like I am taking a puff of really scary speed. It takes a couple of hours to ware off for me.Read More Read Less

I only use the nebulizer, as needed, about once a week. The albuterol makes a significant difference in my breathing and coughing. It does leave me very shaky for a while tho.

I first used the neb in the hospital a little over a year ago. I also have the inhaler. I didn't get the refills for the neb, so I went without it. Boy did I miss it, especially in this hot and humid weather we are having right now. I got more of it on Wednesday and it has helped out tremendously!!

Taking this to help prevent brochial spasms from Whooping Cough. The actual disease is gone, but I'm still syptomatic. The medication does help along with Benzonatate to reduce the number of bronchial spasms I was having. Before adding this to the benzonatate, I ended up in the ER from a spasm that was so bad I couldn't catch my breath after the spasms lasted for an hour. That triggered a complete panic attack as well. My doctor agreed to try the inhaler to help prevent attacks, and while I still do have a few attacks, they are much less severe, don't last very long, and don't happen more than 3 times a day. It's quite an improvement from where I was! My only complaint is that my throat is dry and scatchy.Read More Read Less

I got sick and was to the doctors. They gave me albuterol and a nebulizor (sp). :) It has been helping me sleep all through the night without waking up coughing. It opens my lungs up so i can breath really good. Also, it gives me a little burst of needed energy when I'm sick.
