Taking Microgestin has been successful insofar as the birth is being controlled, however I have almost constant spotting and my period comes unexpectedly in the middle of my cycle. I also don't have side effects regularly and taking the pill has given me serious stomach and back cramping, as well as mood swings. I am looking for something to switch to but in the mean time, effectiveness and price are its best features.
