Many reviewers wrote such horrible side effects, I have had none of them. On my 6th day now. After reading these reviews I was scared to death to take this. After talking to a pharmacist, I felt much better. No side effects at all. My sinus blockage is much better now. Would take again.

I was prescribed this medicine due to flu like symptoms and congestion. On the first day I received the pack at night and took the first 6 tablets as it states to on the pack to do when you first receive it. The entire night I had cold sweats. I sleep in a robe, which I do every night but on this night I was totally drenched with sweat and shivering all night. Through out the night and on to the n...

Was given this for a second time, last was 7 yrs. prior and when the Doc. prescribed this again, I told him that I saw no help from the first time he gave it to me, but we did it again. On the second day, while driving, my vision suddenly started going into that "dream" scape thing like on TV when they have a flashback, just not as severe. I was dizzy, and had to pull off the road and let it pass. After a few minutes I felt better, but not 100% as I know had a headache, upper chest felt funny. Was thinking I was having a stroke. Remberbing these pills did nothing for me the first time I quit the rest of the pack.. I almost did not take the pills to begin with as my back pain had mostly passed when I picked up the prescription, so I feel no harm in not taking the rest......Good luck if you get this one. I am a healthy 74 year old male. I took the first day's dosage. I woke up at 2:00 AM with the sweats. Within a few minutes I passed out cold. I was able to regain conciousness after 1-2 minutes only to nearly pass out again. I had severe heart palpitaions, sweats, nausea and dizziness. This is a powerful drug with severe possible side affects.

Z-pack prescribed for extremely painful gout attack in my toe. Within an hour of taking the first dose (6 x 4mg) the toe started feeling better. Seriously. With 12 hours I was 95% better. I've taken Colchicine which does nothing for me. No side effects that I noticed. I wanted to hug my Dr it was such a relief. Wish I knew about it the last two times I had an attack.

I was prescribed the 21-tablet, 6-day program for congestion in the sinus area caused by a bad cold. I felt a difference in congestion after day 1 and noticed an increase in energy and motivation to do things around the house and elsewhere. There were no bad side affects, even when dosing without food. I was surprised at the energy level it gave me as I continued the regimen and am nearing the end of the 6-day treatment. My only hope is that I do not feel any type of withdrawal symptoms once I take the last pill. But it did exactly what I needed it to do and I have been able to breathe through my nose at night (I use a CPAP), so this was my main objective.Read More Read Less

This is a fantastic drug for my condition. I get really bad allergies during season change which causes me bad wheezing, lung inflammation and post nasal drip. The methlyprednisone 4mg pk works wonders. Takes away all symptoms in days, and I can breathe at night with no prob.

First day I was crawling out of my skin, angry, unable to sit still and rest to heal. Hot flashes and confusion lead me to question this drug, and I called my doctor and STOPPED using it first day. I would not recommend to anyone.

I've had lower back problems for the last 15 years and I went trough 4 surgeries so far, on the last one, 8 screws were put on it to hold my disks and vertebra's better , after 6 mo. I'm still having pain, different area, but still is there, He gave me this medicine to try and see if the inflammation goes down, well, on the first two days headache and dizziness were very intense, on day 3, started to feel better, I decided to continue with my life w/o giving too much attention to the side effects, and on day 5 feeling much better, the pain that I had on my knees, is pretty much gone, and my nose inflammation too, as side effect,... sadly, my back is still hurts, so let see whats next, it did fixed other thing but not the targeted, oh well, when you start taken it, do not concentrate on the side effects, just keep going, you'll feel better, what part of your body will be healed???... a million dollar question !!.Read More Read Less

Worked well for VESTIBULAR DISORDER, however on day 3, the dizziness, vertigo, nausea, sadness and extreme agitation set in. On day 4, extreme anger surfaced with intense headache. My family noticed a discernible change in me. I did not take days 5 and 6. Too scared. Will only take again if desperate.

My doctor prescribed this for me, for a trip with my daughter in which we would be doing a lot of walking and some rock climbing. My knee had been very swollen and possibly also has a Baker's Cyst in the back. I had no problems with my knee the whole trip, even after climbing halfway up a mountain! Unfortunately after the course of meds was over my symptoms returned within a few days but it sure did what I needed for my trip. No side effects whatsoever except happiness at being pain free.

Greatly reduces the inflammation in my entire body. No blood sugar issues. Some night sweats but not unbearable. Worth the trade for pain reduction.

Almost instant pain relief! I was struggling with constant knee pain. I had already faced a series of injections to the knee, and they were not working. As my pain progressed I demanded another form of treatment. The Doctor prescribed methylprednisolone, and by the end of the first day I could move my knees WITHOUT overwhelming pain. By the end of the sixth day. I was COMPLETELY pain FREE! That was approximately eight months ago! I'm STILL pain free! I Thank God for this medication!

I have had severe pain in my shoulder for 6 weeks. My doctor said yesterday it's from something going on with my neck. He prescribed this drug and I took the first 6 pills yesterday. It took away most of the pain almost immediately. I also was able to fall asleep without the constant turning from my shoulder pain. I also need to do PT, but hopefully the two together will fix my neck.

I was prescribed this drug for bronchitis treatment. Took it for 6 days, no positive results. Have been sick for 1.5 months now. It cause me heavy chills and sweats, as well as sleepless nights. Also, my stomach hurt me every day I took it. Beware of this drug for it makes you dizzy at day, and sleepless at night. Didn't help open airways.

I was prescribed this 6-day dose pack for numerous reasons. I had a jaw issue where I couldn't open my mouth, my knee was swollen on one side and it was making it hard to walk without a brace, and I had a psoriasis flare up. I read the reviews and panicked. All the reported side effects had me afraid to take it. I'm right in the middle of tearing down and rebuilding a house so I was afraid it was going to make me too sick to function, I already have massive physical anxiety issues and it looked like the symptoms of an attack is what these meds do. The actual complete opposite happened though. On day 1 I felt better. My knee swelling went down. I could almost open my mouth without pain ( they suspect TMJ). By day 2 I could open my mouth and my knee was almost normal sized. Day 3 my psoriasis started to ease up and I started busting my butt on all these projects I'd been putting off. I'm on day 4 now and feel pretty good. None of the bad side effects I was worried about have happened. I am VERY satisfied with the outcome and im not even to day 6 yet. Read More Read Less

Doc prescribed for poison ivy - on day 2, rashes seem to be calming down a bit...this is in comparison to 3-4 days use of topical, which was not able to relieve the rashes. We'll see if remaining 4 days see further improvement...
