When it was given in an enema at the Urgent Care, it was amazing, with few side effects, except a rather explosive BM. I tried the home enemas, which hardly had any fluid, and it was completely ineffective. Next time, I tried the pills. The plus side is that I got them at a dollar per item store, so the price was right. The first and second nights, I took 1 pill and it did nothing. The instructions said 1-3, so the next day, I took two. Within several hours, I felt like dry stools were being ripped from my colon. They, in fact, looked dry with bits of what looked like skin and mucous, but what do I know? I do know that hurt and the cramping was terrible. I was drinking lots of water but the sensation of passing dry stool has never happened to me, except for his pills. I was up all night in the bathroom and was unable to sleep all day and Iâ??m just now getting back to bed after like 36 hours up. For the last 12 hours my stomach has been feeling very raw, like my insides are sore. I have experienced that with another laxative before, but only the worst of them. I get opiate constipation from prescribed pain medicine, so I will be going through this again, but with a different product, hopefully. This incident did get me to drop my dose down (itâ??s PRN). I have taken other medication with bisque oldie with no stomach pains like this I've ever experienced from these pills I am in the worst pain of my life do not take these

I take laxatives frequently, so when I got this brand I took two hoping to get things moving, well at about 3 in the moving I woke up to severe stomach cramping and pain, then I started sweating profusely, my whole body, thought I was dying felt like I was having a heat stroke or heart attack, ended up having a couple BM after about an hr or so then the sweating stopped, still had stomach pain/cramping for the next two days. DO NOT take this medication.

This laxative gave me such terrible stomach pain, I thought I was dying. After 24 hours I am still in pain with bad diarrhea. Stay away.

So to start off I was backed up for a week. I took this and NOTHING HAPPENED. I decided to take another one 18 hours later around 6pm. I woke up at 2 in the morning in agonizing pain. Not only did the bm feel like knives cutting through my bowels to the point I could track how far away I was from the big show but my stomach was having intense cramps and I could literally feel my stomach expand from the gas building up. Once the bm did happen I swear it lasted for 2 house straight. I started vomiting at some point which was awesome. This was two days ago and I still have the cramps , diarrhea, and vomiting oh and the worst stomach cramps of my life. Worst pain ever and the i have given birth twice

DONT TAKE ITâ??! Iâ??m a G when it comes to popping any kind of pills and this WILL KILL UR STOMACH!!! Itâ??s been 24 hours since last nite and my stomach feels like I had 3 abortions! Terrible!!! Take something natural or stool softener and coffee or laxative tea but NOT THIS! To believe this is doctor recommended is pathetic! Donâ??t do it!

Wow, stay away from this laxative. I took a dose of 10 mg (2 pills) at 10pm and I’ve been up since 3 am thinking I am dying. Massive stomach cramps, bloating, sweating and nausea, way worse than period cramps. The only relief is the bathtub. Stay AWAY.

I genuinely thought i was gonna die... lol this was not a fun time and if you’re gonna do this, don’t use this one like saveeee yourself.. get a stool softener it’s your best bet... drink water ;(

WORST experience Iâ??ve ever had with a laxative. I was unable to have a BM for a couple of days so I decided to get this laxative because it said gentle relief. Let me tell you, it was the furthest from gentle. I took 2 pills a little before bedtime and did not wake until 6 the next morning. I was extremely nauseous and in pain. The cramps were the worst Iâ??ve ever had in my life. I vomited and then lay in the bed for hours before I had my first BM... finally when I had one it was like a waterfall. Figured out that while constipated I was not drinking enough fluids. With enough fluids the cramping and discomfort have disappeared that I wondered if the laxative was really working.

Worst night of my life. Took this at 8:30 pm, work up at 5am in excruciating pain. Horrific stomach aches that went on for hours and once it actually started working all I had was horrific diarrhea. Do not use this!!!!

Extremely painful stomach cramps to the point that I even decided to go to hospital

I am pregnant and was having pretty bad constipation, took three of these earlier in the day and was fine at first. mid day i threw up which i hadnt done in weeks, iâ??m in second trimester. Then around 11 or so at night i started having excruciating cramping and pain in my stomach and radiating to other areas. it came in waves for hours on end. it did the job but was not worth it, the pain was horrible. i was very worried about hurting the baby as it went on for hours. do not use this especially if youâ??re pregnant. Took 2 around 8pm. Woke up at 11pm with excruciating stomach pains. Was laying on the floor in the bathroom thinking o was going to die. Which led me to this forum. Its currently 12:15am with no relief so far. 10/10 would not recommend

I'm 14 and because I've been stopped up and I hadn't used the bathroom enough in the papst few days my doctor recommended me this and I'm currently crying and I've been puking from the pain of this medicine although eventually it allows me to empty my Bowel its WAY too painful and I'm not okay with being up at 1 am with this kinda pain

Died twice and resurrected back. Lol! Jk I’m just trying to distract myself from this horrible pain. Drink a lot of water! This will hurt but it’ll pass. Just don’t take it before going to work.

I took 3 dulcolax around 11pm and woke up at 7:30 with the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life. I was sweating like crazy, nauseous, and in excruciating pain all over my stomach. 100x worse than period cramps but a similar pain. I thought I was dying. I threw up from the pain. I was crawling around on the floor trying to find a position to ease the pain. About 2 hours later it got worse and I finally pooped and then had watery diarrhea. Now it’s 5pm and I just have very mild stomach cramps. I would save this medicine as a last resort type thing. Also I didn’t drink much water with it because the box didn’t say to, but after reading online you are definitely supposed to drink a bunch of water with it. Horrible. First time taking a laxative for constipation. Took two before bed because it said it would take about 6 hours to work and I woke up in the morning with flu like symptoms. Was sweating and thought I was going to vomit. Had the worst diarrhea all day long. I would try to eat or drink something and within five minutes it would be coming back out the other end. Not a good experience
