I took 2-5 mg tablets of bisacodyl at bedtime last night. I woke up this morning with the worst pain imaginable. I was in the bathroom 1/2 the day. Then, went out with my husband and I thought I was going to die. I came home, went to bed, still cramping, upset stomach, now only liquid bowel movements. I feel weak, sick, hot--almost like a flu virus. Do not take this product--period! You will regret it!!! I will never, even take this again and I just threw out the tablets I bought yesterday. i have used this medication for a couple of years if i had trouble going to the washroom on my own,how ever last nigth i got a several alllergic reaction wich is probably rare from this meds,i ended up in emergency room,i took 2 and few hour later i had unusual cramps and nausia,than few minutes later iches,and in 10 minutes my bdy was fully covered with hives,mean fully!i never ever had anything even close to thi,had to call 911.it didn effected my breathing thank god.im ok today,have to to take some steroids for 2 more daysRead More Read Less

I took this because it says "for Women" and hoped that meant "gentle on my female system". However, while it did clean out my system, I was very uncomfortable throughout a 12 hour period while it worked on me...severe stomach cramps, gas, bloating, frequent runs to the toilet, and watery stool spraying from my bottom. It was a terrible, terrible experience and I cannot recommend this product to other women.

It worked in the time limit that was on the medication. There was some pain and my butt burns but it was all worth it getting out the stool that has had me backed up for a week and a half. This laxative is the only thing that works for me. Normally it is not painful but maybe it was just because I had a large stool. Anyways I love this medication it works great.

Intense stomache pain/cramping

After being constipated for 3 days, which is very rare for me, I took 2 tablets at bed time, the dosage being stated as "take 1 to 3". I woke up several times in the night with terrible stomach pain, had to stay home from work today due to uncontrollable runs, have probably passed 3 or 4 pints of water from my rectum, my ass burns, and I still feel bloated and weird with sore stomach. I am a healthy 57-yr old woman with no history of stomach or colon problems or disease.

I took this yesterday am and was so sick by suppertime, thought I was going to passout, broke out in major sweat, had to lay down till abdomen pain settled down, then had the chills. before the being able to go potty.was like that most of the evening. husband was worried, wanting to take me hosp. today, abdomen is very sore, and upset. will never ever take this again.

This drug was effective within the time period advertised. I am very satisfied that it does what it is designed to do.

Severe vomiting after the consumption of bisacodyl. Vomiting lasting 6+ hours causing severe head pain. Head cat scan and spinal tap performed to rule out bleeding.

Much, much better than senna. Reasonably gentle yet definitely effective. Best laxative I've taken for constipation.
