After reading so many bad reviews on Reclipsen I was really freaked out! I'm 19 and this is the first kind of birth control I've ever been on and IT IS A DREAM! I went from having moderate acne, to no new breakouts. My periods last around 3 days and everything is good! I'm in the middle of my second month and it's great! I had one or two headaches since I started, but that could be caused by other...

I've been on this birth control for almost 4 years now. I have always noticed an increase in anxiety, depression, and a decrease in sex drive when taking this medication. My weight has been fairly stable while taking reclipsen. I've been on Yaz, alesse, and ortho tricyclin before taking reclipsen. I am seriously considering going back to Alesse. Reclipsen is only $10 per month with my insura...

by far the worst medicine i've ever taken. My breast have doubled in size, very painful. Big painful pimples showing up everywhere although I never get acne. Retaining water like crazy, since I drink at least 70 oz a day, I am very uncomfortable. Gained 10 pounds in 2 weeks, regardless of exercises which is becoming difficult to maintain giving the painful water weight and swollen breast. Oh and to top it off, I'm now experiencing horrible sharp pains in the groin area and spotting. At least the mood swings have passed. Effective birth control indeed. No man would ever come close to a woman in this state.Read More Read Less

I went on it to help with a heavy period with severe cramps and it did not help it at all. Instead I got cramps every day 5+ times a day for about 30 seconds - 1 minute. It made me very moody, and I also experience very tender breasts to the point where hugs hurt. Everybody is different, but I don't think I'd recommend it to anybody.

I am probably one of the only people to write a positive review for Reclipsen. I was so hesitant to start taking it after reading such bad reviews online. I tried it anyway. It has been 5 weeks now. My acne has 95% cleared up, which is Amazing, because even anti-biotics had stopped working for me. I remember the first two weeks of taking it, I got headaches almost everyday. I stuck with it...now no more headaches or any other bad symptoms. Just clear skin. I am very happy with this product.

I switched to reclipsen after being on Yaz for about 2 years, I had NO side effects with Yaz but the $80 price tag was too expensive. I havent had any of the spotting or cramping like the other people but I have experienced severe hairloss. I plan on going back to Yaz and sucking up the cost since I would rather be broke then bald!

this pill is just as easy to use as any pill. I discontinued using it after less than a month because it turned me into an absolute basket case. I fought, cried and get very angry with my boyfriend every night. I can recognize when i'm the one that's outta control and this was bad. Also i was very dizzy and exhausted while taking this. I guess I could have given it more time to let my body adjust but the mood swings were so bad i figured i wouldnt have a boyfriend much longer much less the need for birth control the way i was headed...there was no sex while on this pill so i guess it did it's job. after several years on birth control I was switched to this drug from Apri- after about 3 to 4 months my periods grew heavier and heavier (use to have only 2-3 days of light bleeding now 6-7 heavy bleeding) my cramps are increasingly getting worse and my sex drive is now zero. I truely hate this medication and would not recommend it to anyone

After 3 months on this medication, I developed a DVT in my leg and a pulmonary embolism in my lung. I am a 20 year old non-smoker and no medical history. I do not take any other prescription medication and only a daily multiple vitamin. It bought me 5 days in the hospital and a lifetime on coumadin.

I was required to take Reclipsen for part of my IVF treatment. I have been tired, moody, mostly depressed, achy, headaches and no libido AT ALL. It is frustrating. I just finished my required dosage and hope I will be back to normal soon. I will never take these again.

I've never been on a birth control pill that I've had so many problems with. I have spotted every day of the month since I've started taking this pill, I have major cramps (worse than my normal amount), and it makes me extremely moody! This pill is the worst I've ever been on!

I would not recommend this drug to anyone. The mood swings were so bad I was becoming depressed, my fiance couldn't stand to be around me and I was getting constant headaches. It also made my period very heavy and left me with really bad cramps. I had to switch from Yasmin because I lost my insurance, but now that I have insurance again I couldnt get to the doctor quick enough for a new prescription. do not use this drug, there are so many better options out there.

I've had absolutely no problems with this birth control pill. The only side effect I've had is low libido, which is what I've had with other BCPs as well. No spotting or anything, and period is generally 4-5 days long. I would recommend this to others.

would not recommend to anyone. my 14yr old daughter spent 9 days in the hospital with a blood clot in the vein extending from her knee to her hip. she had just finished her second pack. would not wish that experience on anyone.

I have been taking this medicine for 7 months now. At first i had a lot of hair loss. I was going bald on the side of my head, after a month all my hair grew back and i have had shorter periods. Also in the beginning i had a lot of headaches and stomach aches. It has all went away and i like the pill.

Ive had no major problems on this. Ive been taking this since they stopped making Apri. My periods are normal and about 6 days. The only major problem I do have is that my sex drive is horrible and I had to be switched to the low dose.

My first experience on the pill and they gave me this one. I was worried after seeing all the negative reviews on here, but I've been taking it for 3 months now. Never had any spotting or mood swings, and my periods are now much shorter, lighter and not nearly as painful! When first taking, I noticed an increase in the urge to have to go to bathroom, but that went away. Other than that this pill has been great for me, but somehow when my doctor put in my refill, I'm getting Lutera now... I don't want to switch as I'm like Reclipsen! Just remember when reading reviews, everyone's body reacts differently!Read More Read Less
