Mission includes phone and e-mail support, promoting awareness, education, research and legislative advocacy regarding Fragile X syndrome, a hereditary condition which is the most common known cause of inherited mental impairment. Services also include a quarterly journal, research grants, local, national and international conferences and educational resources (books and videotapes for a fee).
