Patellar Tracking Disorder - Medications
To reduce knee pain and swelling related to patellar tracking disorder, you can take nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Do not give aspirin to anyone younger than 20 because of the risk of Reye's syndrome, a rare but serious disease.
The dietary supplements glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate may also relieve pain.
