The National Reye's Syndrome Foundation (NRSF) provides information, guidance, and emotional support for families. A major goal of the organization is to raise awareness of Reye's syndrome and the risks of using aspirin and other salicylates. The foundation hopes this awareness will help people, including those in the medical community, detect the condition early in its course. The NRSF also supports research on the cause of Reye's syndrome, how it can be prevented, its treatment, and its impact on survivors. |
