I worked as a geriatric nursing asst., working many double shifts, doing a lot of heavy lifting, on my feet for 18-20 hrs. at a time. Suffered from knee and shoulder pain due to osteoarthritis; also, heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, and bunions. LOTS of pain, daily. I was eating OTC ibuprofen like it was candy, with little to no relief. Mobic has been a Godsend! I now function with minimal disc...
I started 2 months ago and have noticed improvement. I have had some side effects, I can tolerate the tiredness, stiff neck for the relief I get from it. I am on a water pill as well so this might be part of the problem of urgent bladder suddenly appearing. Thirsty a lot as well.

Had diarrhea the entire month I took it. My tendonitis is gone, so it's effective. I won't ever take it again. Still trying to get my gut back to normal.

My rheumotologist prescribed Mobic for my joint pain due to arthritis. I took one pill and, within an hour or so, developed a severe rash and hives on my torso. I checked with a friend who is a pharmacist, and she said I was having an allergic reaction to Mobic and to take some Benadryl. That helped. I informed my doc who d/c'd the Mobic immediately. I was surprised to have such a reaction, as I can take other anti-inflammatories, such as Aleve and Ibuprofen with no problem. Hope this helps someone.Read More Read Less

I had been taking Mobic daily too but have recently stopped because of warnings about even limited use of NSAIDs. Mobic had really help ease the pain and swelling in my finger joints, but arnica gel and infra-red gloves are helping just as well.

Very effective for relief of inflammation and related pain. Mindful to drink plenty of water with pill and not to lie down immediately after taking.

Every time a doctor writes this I throw it in his trash before leaving the office, and walk out. They give this to my cats during spaying them. Don't work for Fibro, Multiple sclorosis, or myositis pain ITS GARBAGE!!! Simply put

Without this medication I am in constant pain. I was miserable, cranky and just couldn't stand the pain. I feel like Mobic saved my life, I can't imagine my life without it.

Began Mobic in conjunction with a cortisone shot for bursitis in my shoulder. After the shot wore off, the pain returned. I started taking Mobic and the pain is almost gone but more importantly my range of movement improved 100 percent.

Meloxicam (Mobic) has been a life changer for me. I would get joint pain in my knees and feet, and the pain went away immediately once I took it. It keeps my pain away for a whole 24 hours. Meloxicam is the most effective medicine I have ever taken.

Mobic is a joke. It does absolutely nothing for me. For swelling and arthritis use Celebrex, Tylenol, or even Benadryl. Mobic is a waste.

A year and half in pain. Injections, Aleve, Motrin, paracetomol and every supplement possible, to no avail. Relief was always very temporary and limited until Meloxicam. 3 days after Meloxicam and I am finally the person I was before this nightmare. I just pray it continues to work. They need to find a cure for chronic inflammation!!!!
