I have suffered with chronic depression for most of my life. I have tried almost every antidepressant out there with varying degrees of success. I currently take 90 mgs of Cymbalta every day. This drug has very much stabalizede my life for me. I have not had to be admitted to the psychiatric hospital for several years now that we have come up with a stable set of medicine for me which includes Abilify, which works very well for me. I find no problems with taking the pill in the morning and getting on with my day.

I don't remember this drug really alleviating my symptoms much at all. The only thing I do remember it did, was make me gain about 20 lbs.

Abilify did initially cause some sleepiness. Other than that I've experienced no side effects from it.
